The Story

Nikolai, a Japanese student and the son of Soviet immigrants, is about to have his world turned upside-down. The familiar clashes with the ghosts of his past, and he must determine who he can trust in a world where money and power overshadow the lives of ordinary people.

The Heroines

Himitsu, Nikolai's childhood friend, has always been kind and caring towards him. But is their relationship really just friendship? Could her years of loyalty have earned her something more?

Catherine, Nikolai's ex-girlfriend who left Japan a year ago, returns unexpectedly and transfers to his class. Their parting wasn't amicable, and Nikolai still holds onto unpleasant memories. Why has Catherine come back, and does she still love him?

Ellie is the granddaughter of the head of trustees at Nikolai's school. She is confident and proud, but there may be more to her than meets the eye. Is there a rebellious side hiding behind her composed facade?

Kagome, the class representative whom Nikolai never paid much attention to before, suddenly becomes more significant to him due to a certain turn of events. Kagome is disliked by others in the school, but is there more to her unsociable demeanor than meets the eye?
